How can we make our bus network better?
This consultation is now closed.
Next, we’ll be seeking feedback on the bus network options and frequency.
The Hop on Board engagement ran from April to May 2024. During this time, the community shared feedback directly on the map, in writing, and in person, providing their thoughts on bus route changes, service timings, and weekend services. Seven community drop in sessions were held across Taranaki.
Outcome
A considerable amount of feedback was gathered during this consultation. A total of 217 individual points of feedback were contributed to the bus network refresh map and the Ideas Tank (below). Additionally, 173 people attended the community drop-in sessions around Taranaki, contributing valuable feedback.
During this phase of consultation three themes came through loud and clear. Our community wanted buses to key destinations, higher frequency services and for it to be easier to get around.
Tell us your ideas
This is the place to share and discuss ideas that don't specifically relate to the categories on the map, like on-board WiFi and improved advertising that promote our bus services etc.
